This site and anyone who followed me likely left (metaphoric or literal) at least 3 years ago. I have been remiss while dating a miss. That is no more. I just recently became a post-doctoral researcher instead of a student. Got my Ph.D. and everything. The consequence of the two aboves is that I have the time and now the money to buy new photography equipment. A Canon 50D. Some respectable lenses. Filters. A copy of CS5. Things. But there was a 5 foot speedbump. I loaned out 10 grand to two friends. One of which functionally has two children and no other means of support right now. The other just has long-standing issues related to narcolep

Somehow like magic, it's been another 6 months (and 2 weeks, but who is counting). I posted several shots I've taken over the last year and a half. Some from Detroit, some from Madison, or just around the US in general. Not much that's new in the art world. I had two big shows, got a feature on Dennis Cooper's website and a lot of positive feedback, and in a few weeks I'll be doing my first solo show with about 20 prints. This time around, I'm going to ditch conventional knowledge and just do a 200% mark-up from what I actually paid. Granted I'm not optimistic given the downturn in the economy, but I can hope. I'll be getting a new camera

Well it's been...more than six months! Can you believe the site has over 40 million deviations? Jesus, I remember when it was barely pushing 6. Makes me feel old. I had my first show about 2 months ago. 400-500 some odd people showed up at the reception. It was spectacular. I ended up selling a few pieces even, which as I've come to find out is way better than par for the course. Middle-aged art goers are either artists themselves and don't have the money, or actually do have money but are too cheap to spend it on anything meaningful (i.e. ME). I have another show coming up in October that's part of this huge artist collaborative. It's supp

I only come on here to tell people like yourself, talentless folk, that they indeed have no talent.
I remain convinced that the piece I bought when meeting you will be worth big bucks someday. You have real talent, sir. I would be jealous but I cannot...I can but only admire you as one admires a maestro in any field.
You have no talent and are still an ass hole.
love your stuff really
Excellent gallery. A must watch, I'd say :)

I've been a silent watcher in the Redemption-forum for a few years now, so I'll take this opportunity to express my awe on what you guys have done so far. :worship:

Can't wait the outcome, *Insert several similar platitudes here* :P
You're studying for your PHD, right? In Madison?
